Against my better judgment, I gave my heart away and it got bruised. I had plans to spend the night with my new man on Friday & was blown off. I am shocked. This man is almost 20 years older than me, but doesn't seem to learned some of the basic considerations that we should all have by nearly 60. It is cool though, at least I was not in too deep and can walk away and hold my head up high. I work with this person, so will have to see him everyday. I can deal with that; I have dealt with worse situations and lived. I knew I was not ready, but was talked into this relationship. Live and learn.
I really hate this game!

Meri - if you like to read, you might enjoy Women who run with the wolves - or maybe Becoming Real. You have instincts that you are not following because you don't seem to trust them - you are smarter than you are giving yourself credit for - and have been willing, at least here, to try to work through yoru own "stuff - and that isn't for cowards.

My so called boyfriend is also 20 years older than me, and most of the time he seems to think that he is the ONLY person in this thing we call a relationship!!!(Hell. the world, for that matter!)

The picture scared me for a second. It's hard to make out the guy's features, and I thought it might be my uncle. That's one that you should run away from.
